Dear Harrison Neighbors and Friends,

The votes are in and you have given me the distinct honor of serving as your Mayor/Supervisor for another two years – I am humbled and grateful for the confidence you have shown towards me and our dedicated team at Town Hall.

I am proud of the positive, issues-oriented campaign we waged which focused on the terrific progress we’ve made in recent years regarding strengthening the Town’s financial health, improving our quality of life with smart development, and making Town government more transparent and accessible.

I am delighted to report that Board Member Fred Sciliano will be returning to serve Harrison for another term, Fred’s commitment to our Town is steadfast and his work on the Board will benefit everyone in the years ahead.

While the Belmont team fell a few votes short with respect to electing Carlo Riccobono, his decades of service to the Town did not go unnoticed on the campaign trail and I am sure he will continue contributing to Harrison in his likeable and unique way.

In addition, I would like to recognize and welcome to the Town Board our newest member, Lauren Leader, I look forward to finding common ground with her and Board Member Gordon as we get on with doing the people’s work.

Congratulations also to Jackie Greer on her reelection to Town Clerk as well as to Pat Gizzo on being re-elected to Town/Village Justice.

Finally, to those who chose to vote in another direction this year for Mayor/Supervisor, please know that we are all Harrison neighbors and, as such, I pledge to work even harder over the next two years to earn your support – my door is always open and today, my heart is full with gratitude to everyone of every political leaning.

With humble gratitude and a Harrison spirit of optimism for the future, I thank you again!
